Why would I get my windows cleaned before selling my house?
This is pretty simple to understand. Most people, when listing their house,
are trying to get the highest offer they can from a prospective buyer. However, you are competing with many other houses in your area to spark the interest of buyer's agents and their clients. Window cleaning is one of the most affordable things you can do in the home selling process to make your house look more attractive to prospective buyers. Most homeowners don't realize how dirty their windows are, or what a difference it would make to the overall appearance of their house if they were to get them cleaned. On the left side you can see the piece of the window that has not yet been cleaned, and on the right side, you can see where it has. As you may notice, the difference is substantial.

If your agent is planning on holding an open house, we typically will suggest that they windows get cleaned 1-2 days before the open house.
